Wine Reviews |
GREAT EVERYDAY ITALIAN WINES TASTING PAGE We love discovering new wines and attending professional wine tastings. It’s our passion and our job. It sounds easy and lots of fun but it is also work and you need to keep good notes to refer back to. After tasting a dozen or two wines it starts to be a big blur, so note taking and having a journal is a must. It all about training your senses and becoming focused on what your tasting that helps build your palate. I have so many journals that I refer back to on wines that I tasted and then tasted again years later to compare how they are developing – notes that compare different vintages or wines from the same region but are worlds apart. After 25 years I am still talking notes , doodling and building my library with current information.
